Salary: $15.00 Hourly ($31,200)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED -AND- the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Performs routine duties in commodity distribution including receipt and issuance of inventory under the supervision of a Commodity Coordinator; performs related duties as required.
STATEMENT OF TASKS:
- Gathers, verifies and distributes commodities to various sites and centers;
- Keeps accurate and precise records on commodity poundage received and issued by the main warehouse;
- Maintains flow of commodity stock to distribution clerks;
- Prepares daily distribution and cleans area at the end of the day.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of city/ county roads and all distribution site locations;
- Ability to accurately follow directions and complete work assignments;
- Ability to keep accurate records;
- Ability to recognize alphabetical and numerical sequences;
- Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and the public;
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing;
- Ability to do simple mathematical computations;
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively and respectfully in a complex, multicultural work environment that values diversity, equity and inclusion.
