Sanitation Technician

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for delivering the results required for safe and quality products. The position reports to the Sanitation Manager and works closely with the PM Shift Supervisor to complete all sanitation procedures and ensure compliance on the PM shift. The person appointed will be expected to maintain and improve the safety and quality of the facility by executing a predetermined plan. Excellent communication and active listening skills are needed in order to coordinate strategy with the rest of the management team.
This position is 3rd shift 10 PM-6:30 AM.
Starting Wage: $ 19.00/Hr.
Essential Job Functions

Environmental test collection
•
Post-operational inspections
•
Pre-operational inspections
•
Monitor automated washing procedures
o
Chemical Testing
o
Tear-down and inspection
•
Monitoring of Plant Ambient temperatures
•
Packaging inspection (Bag position, sell by, seal, etc.)
•
Metal Detector (Bulk Line and Pack Line) monitoring
•
Follow the Master Sanitation plan
•
PH Monitoring
•
Non-Conformity reporting
•
Verify proper skid labeling
•
Monitor tare weight at scales
•
Monitor sell by dates
•
Maintain clean processing areas
•
Oversee process and sampling production
•
Review Nightly Sanitation report and file
•
Monitor GMP's properly followed throughout plant
