Your role at MOBE

A B2B Copywriter is responsible for writing engaging, persuasive content for a variety of commercial audiences, including health plans, employers, and consultants. This person will be responsible for thoughtfully guiding and advancing buyers through their customer journeys. A successful B2B Copywriter will collaborate with other team members to ideate and execute work across a wide range of creative assignments, including email campaigns, website content, trade show experiences, and digital advertising. They will be tasked with generating on-brand and strategic copy that helps attract and support business leads.

This position reports to the Senior Director of Creative Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Concept and write content for multi-channel initiatives, including lead generation email campaigns, e-newsletters, web copy, trade shows, and paid media.
  • Participate in strategy sessions and kick-off meetings; adding to discussions with thoughtful contributions and observations.
  • Brainstorm and collaborate with other creatives to ensure assignments meet project requirements and business objectives.
  • Help support B2B creative writing standards and proofing guidelines.
  • Prioritize and balance a large capacity of work, avoiding obstacles or delays through clear communication with creative teammates and project managers.
  • Apply a strategic lens to creative problem solving, and present work in a clear and concise way.
  • Adhere to brand standards when writing to provide a consistent and compelling experience for our audience.
  • Apply SEO principles to develop copy that helps to drive leads through our digital channels.
  • Support content reviews and proofread whenever needed (or provide guidance to team Proofreader on writing standards).
  • Understand business products/services/objectives through research and cross-functional conversations.
  • Support the MOBE Marketing team with high-quality work and “out-of-the-box” thinking.
  • Mentor and guide emerging writing talent, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by MOBE’s Guiding Principles.
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Able to work in a hybrid role (3 days in Reno office / 2 days at home).
  • 5+ years of B2B writing experience in a creative setting with a solid portfolio or writing samples demonstrating breadth of writing/related experience.
  • Superior writing skills and understanding of best practices in digital, especially email campaigns.
  • Proven experience writing in the health care industry, with a strong understanding of complex buying cycles, including multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Background/experience in digital (web, UX, social).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with submitting work for review using a project management tool (ex: Wrike).
  • Understanding of grammar, usage, and documentation considerations (adhering to Chicago Manual of Style or similar). Ability to adhere to writing standards according to brand guidelines.
  • Excellent communicator (both verbally and written).
  • Team player with a strong desire to support a positive work environment.
  • Pro-active, self-starter who works well independently.
  • Driven by curiosity. Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Well-organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable. Able to work in a rapidly changing environment.

Preferred

  • Agency experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Desire to be part of an organization looking to transform health culture.

Salary Range

  • The salary for this position is between $80,000 and $90,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. Additionally, you are eligible for an annual performance-based bonus of up to 10% of your base salary. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, unlimited PTO, and tuition reimbursement.
