Summary
Coordinates the support for all leave of absence programs such as FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, workers’ compensation claims, and unemployment claims. Collaboratively coordinates all cases/claims to include general administration, with the leave of absences, workers compensation and unemployment vendors. Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of all government regulations and laws as well as company policies, and guidelines. Performs exemplary customer service and assistance to associates, executives and HR business partners.

Serves as the subject matter expert for the leaves, ADA, workers’ compensation, unemployment programs in alignment and under the general direction of the Third-Party Vendors (TPA).

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility but assists in leading and managing the work of the recruitment team through ongoing communication, setting expectations, and working to develop best practices.
Work Environment
Like all members of the Human Resources team, this role works primarily from a remote location of
the employee’s residence. Drop-in office space at our Checkrein offices is available.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is required but primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected occasionally. Occasional travel for in-person meetings is expected with all safety equipment provided and precautions observed.
