The Facilities Coordinator will ensure all laboratory spaces and extended facilities are safe to work in, well-maintained and fit for purpose. Responsibilities include the upkeep of the building, laboratory spaces and supporting infrastructure of the Kansas facility, and general stocking of non-inventory items. Coordinates with external contractors and service personnel as required for the maintenance and occasional upgrade of the facility. Proactively performs frequent routine inspections of the facility. Participate in global safety meetings and coordinate with Safety personnel (e.g., Safety Officer, Chemical Hygiene Officer, etc.) to complete facility improvements identified by the Safety Committee. Acts as primary point of contact for certain inspections and service calls (HVAC, back-up generator, fire, water systems, extinguishers, plumbing, electrical, etc.). Maintains recordkeeping for accurate maintenance, purchase, and repair records. Assists with the coordination of building-support vendors (pest control, janitorial, construction, HVAC, environmental monitoring, etc.). Communication/Coordination with internal stake holders, as needed. Supports the organization with ad hoc requests, including but not limited to, room set up, catering set up, etc. Collaborate across locations (Colorado & Kansas) to ensure consistency and collaboration.   Location DeSoto   This position is currently not accepting applications.
