Provide financial models that forecast business outcomes and profits. Track current financial data to alert management of significant deviations. Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement. Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins. Writing data-backed reports to support the management team in strategic business decisions. Measuring financial risk associated with business decisions. Establish benchmarks for financial processes. Develop forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis. Prepare ad-hoc reports, projections, and/or analysis as requested by management or other departments. Coordinate with other members of the Accounting/Finance team and inter-departmentally to review financial information and forecasts. Assist with monthly and quarterly close, and preparation of financial statements. Support SOX compliance initiatives. Perform other various related duties as required and assigned by the Accounting Manager or VP of Finance. Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial statement relationships. Excellent reporting, presenting, and communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications. Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. Ability to professionally interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
