About the Organization Established June 15, 1971, Valley Community Services Board is a publicly funded organization where citizens of Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta and Highland Counties can receive Behavioral Health, Substance Use and Developmental Services services. Valley Community Services Board serves as the single point of entry into publicly funded mental health, developmental, and substance use disorder services for these localities.

Description

Valley Community Services Board is seeking applicants for the position of Quality Assurance Specialist - Developmental Services.

Essential Functions

  • Completion of Client Record Audits DS, including ICF and ITC
  • Electronic Record System Training
  • CHRIS System Reporting and Incident Monitoring
  • Coordinates, schedules, and assists in facilitating emergency preparedness drills.
  • Monitors data related to state reporting for VCSB services and actively participates in the agency DART team.
  • Expands own knowledge of job-related areas by such means as academic study, independent reading and attending outside conferences, workshops, etc.
  • Reviews and ensures understanding of agency policy and procedures and recommend changes where applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human services related field and preferably meets qualifications of a QDDP.
