Description

George School, a Quaker boarding/day grades 9-12 college preparatory school located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA has an opening for a Director of Advancement Services.

The Director of Advancement Services is a strategic partner with the Advancement team. They are responsible for advancement related database management, data governance, data security, reporting, analytics, and prospect research.  They play a key role in overseeing, developing, and implementing data and gift entry procedures; list management, segmentation, reporting, donor acknowledgements, and prospect development; and contribute to the successful execution of advancement goals and strategies. They advise and assist the Director of Development as a member of the leadership and decision-making team within the Advancement Office. 

 

 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and five or more years related experience in fundraising, finance/accounting, database management, or equivalent combination.
  • Experience with CRM and/or ERP systems (Raiser’s Edge preferred, but not required).
  • Strong MS Excel knowledge and skills are required, including the ability to create and manage pivot table reports.
  • Proficiency with database structures, including an aptitude for database report writing tools (familiarity with MS SQL Server Reporting Language preferred).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to the Quaker values of peace, equality, service, community, and consensus decision-making.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and to serving the needs of a diverse community.
  • Available to work three or more weekends as required, including Opening Days, Family Weekend, and Alumni Weekend as well as assigned periodic social duty.
