The Multi-craft Maintenance position will report to the maintenance manager. Handle both electrical and mechanical jobs. The multi-craft maintenance is responsible for assisting and following the direction of the internal maintenance team and 3rd party contractors. In addition, this position will be expected to be proficient in basic tools, threading pipe, pulling wires, rebuilding pumps, and other light maintenance work. The position reports to and works closely to the Maintenance Planner to ensure that we have the highest safety standard and minimal downtime in the facility. The person appointed will be expected to maintain and improve the safety and efficiency of the facility by executing a predetermined plan set forth at weekly maintenance meetings. Excellent communication and active listening skills are needed in order to succeed in this position.
Essential Job Functions
•
Fulfill Maintenance Work Orders
•
Inspection of equipment after work order completion
•
Install electrical drives and power supplies, maintain wiring, and control equipment
•
Fixing and upgrading the electrical system and doing repair work
•
Replace motors and work on industrial packing robots.
•
Following PPE, GMP, and SOP’s within the maintenance department
•
Be able to troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment while working with operators to make sure we run as efficient as possible.
•
Monitor equipment operations efficiency
•
Inventory supplies
•
Assist with completion of preventative maintenance programs for all equipment
•
Assist the maintenance staff with a variety of facility improvement tasks
•
Food Safety is everyone’s job.
• As part of the Minerva Dairy Team you will be expected to support the operations in food safety programs such as washing your hands, wearing clean uniforms, eating in designated areas, and arriving to work in good health and hygiene.

Education and Experience Requirements:
•
3 – 5 years of working in maintenance in an industrial setting - Mechanical
•
3 – 5 years of working in maintenance in an industrial setting - Electrical
•
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
•
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools
•
Highly personable, trustworthy
•
Journeyman certificate a plus but not required.
•
Experience in web-based applications (Hippo a plus)
•
Be conscious about the importance of sanitation and safety
