Hickory Farms Store Team Lead 



Supervises one holiday gift center according to company policy so as to maximize sales and profits, and minimize loss.  The Kiosk Store Team Leader recruits, trains and directs his/her associates.  Ensures all associates are actively providing great guest service and following Loss Prevention guidelines.


  • The primary objective of the Kiosk Store Team Leader is to ensure that all associates, including himself/herself, are actively providing great guest service and that budgeted sales are met or exceeded.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains all kiosk associates.  Initiates training and adheres to all company training procedures.
  • Provides on-going training to all associates so as to maximize sales.
  • Assures proper money handling techniques are used in keeping with company policies and procedures, including register operation and bank deposits.  Makes bank deposits daily or more frequently if necessary in accordance with company policy.  Ensures the POS register is closed, balanced and prepared for polling on a daily basis.  Ensures shift change counts are conducted daily and that associates complete all closing and bank deposit transactions.
  • Directs and oversees the activities of the kiosk to ensure efficient management in all aspects of the kiosk operation.  Prepares work schedule for himself/herself, sales associates and stock labor, while adhering to company labor allocation guidelines.  Ensures required meal and rest periods are provided and taken.
  • Assures the duties, responsibilities and authority of each associate are clearly defined and communicated.  Provides associates with prompt and objective coaching and counseling. 
  • Ensures that the disciplinary policy and procedures are adhered to.  Promptly counsels any associate regarding poor performance or infractions of company rules.  According to company disciplinary guidelines, documents all counseling sessions and warnings, both written and verbal.  Immediately notifies Headway Human Resources Department of any complaints of discrimination, sexual harassment, or other violations of the company’s EEO policy.  Adheres strictly to the codes of conduct outlined in the Seasonal Employee Handbook.
  • Responsible for eliminating or minimizing inventory loss by preventing theft and controlling spoilage, receiving shipments correctly, and eliminating paperwork errors.
  • Ensures the expedient set-up and take-down of the assigned unit, if so directed by the Retail Area Supervisor.
  • Completes all new hire paperwork, payroll transmittals and timesheets and submits to the Home Office on a timely basis.  Promptly reports all associates who have terminated to the Headway Payroll Department.  Completes all paperwork accurately and neatly, and submits it in a timely basis.
  • Maintains and stocks kiosk with product as needed. Follows the company’s policies and procedures to assure that the assigned unit is merchandised properly and maintained at all times by all associates.               
  • Responsible for maintaining safety awareness and compliance with all company safety and loss prevention programs, as well as any applicable OSHA regulations.  Identifies and immediately eliminates safety hazards.  Takes steps to prevent safety hazards from occurring and immediately counsels any associate observed to be engaging in unsafe acts.  Reports any associate or guest injuries according to company policy.
  • Responsible for ensuring standards of cleanliness, sanitation and quality control in the assigned kiosk.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the Retail Area Supervisor, Regional Manager or other  appropriate management officials.

  • Assistant Team Lead

Indirectly Supervises:

  • Stock/Labor Temps provided by Labor Ready

Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one years’ supervisor experience.


Physical Activities:  Standing, walking, use of hands and fingers, grasping, reaching, climbing, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Physical Requirements:  Medium Work:  Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 42 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Salary $11.00 per hour
