Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 1:30 pm The school social worker provides a variety of direct and indirect services to students, families and school personnel to improve academic, social-emotional, and behavioral outcomes. Services are provided to students ages 5-21 in the Autism and Emotional Support programs. Essential duties provided by the school social worker include delivering a continuum of services to students; consulting with parents, school staff, and outside providers; assessing students’ risk of harm; and facilitating access to resources. School social workers deliver classroom-based, small group, and individual counseling and maintain timely, accurate records of services.   Position Requirements PA LSW. Experience with students with autism and emotional disturbance preferred. Experience with culturally diverse populations preferred. Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations, including child welfare and special education.
