The Peabody Companies is looking for a Social Media and Multifamily Marketing Specialist to assist the in-house Marketing and Creative team in planning and executing company and property marketing initiatives. This person will be essential in the marketing and property management teams.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of administrative and marketing with a passion for telling a brand's story through social media. He/she is engaging, self-motivated, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and savvy about the internet and social media. This individual will work with our in-house Marketing and Creative team and report to the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the marketing team in the development and execution of the marketing and branding strategy for the portfolio and company
  • Assist in the day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinate marketing projects and activities
  • Create marketing materials for individual communities, including but not limited to: flyers, social posts, email blasts, mailings, and website content
  • Manage email marketing; schedule, coordinate and manage social campaigns
  • Post, manage, and edit property listings on various web-based platforms
  • Assist in the development of social media content for active properties and help maintain social media channels
  • Managing social media pages by posting updates and responding to messages
  • Managing online reviews sites and responding to posts and comments
  • Update monthly reporting for various campaigns
  • Assist in the development of social media content for active properties and help maintain social media channels
  • Assist in monitoring and updating the company website, social media profiles, marketing calendar, ILS accounts, master listing, contact lists, and email campaigns
  • Assist in designing internal corporate communications, including pasts and announcements
  • Assist teams in event planning and coordination
  • Review marketing materials for brand consistency
  • Assist in the day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinate marketing projects and activities
  • Maintain marketing projects task tracking sheet
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of the department activities, such as answering the telephone, copying, printing, ordering, and mailing
  • In addition to these typical duties, may perform other duties as assigned and required
  • Reports directly to Sr. Director of Strategic Initiatives

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sales, Business, or related field
  • A minimum of two years of related professional experience, with an emphasis on social media strategy, digital marketing, and community engagement
  • Understanding/knowledge of social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Impressive storytelling and writing skills
  • Familiarity and passion for capturing visual content
  • Diligent work ethic, discretion, an eye for art/design, and an avid desire to learn and excel (with little supervision)
  • Proficiency with Canva, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, RealPage, and all Microsoft Office programs is a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus
  • Multifamily property management/marketing experience is a plus
