Welcome to the "What's Next District.' AREA15 is looking for an experienced, full-time Maintenance Engineer, General to perform the daily maintenance needs of our growing district. The Maintenance Engineer, General works under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, General to perform a wide variety of maintenance functions required to maintain the AREA15 District as assigned. The ideal candidate will ensure OSHA compliance and safe operations of equipment while performing duties. The selected candidate will be required to work varying shifts as defined by the needs of the business. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Serve as an ambassador for the AREA15 brand by embracing and promoting the company's core values: Authentic, Engaged, Uninhibited, Welcoming, and Visionary Performs all duties to uphold the operational, quality, and safety standards of the company and communicates needs to manager in a timely manner Provide superior service and always represents self and the company in a professional manner. Consistently maintains a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with vendors, coworkers, and the general public Complete daily full district overview and ensure the buildings and surrounding areas are up to operational standards prior to opening to the public Complete work order requests as needed and perform general maintenance and repairs, as assigned throughout common areas or as requested by department or business unit Be a self- starter and able to perform duties to completion under minimal supervision Monitor the use and inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment including but not limited to cycle counts and routine inspections Installing, painting, troubleshooting, repairing, removing, relocating, and maintaining various components Monitor and maintain mechanical/HVAC equipment on a strictly scheduled basis. Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment such as, but not limited to, aerial lifts, fleet vehicles, and power tools Ensure exemplary maintenance protocols while complying with required security, safety, and environmental codes and ordinances Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and reports all irregular issues to management and be an integral role in finding the solution Any other related work that may be requested of the maintenance department Other duties as needed Exhibit ART! (AREA15's service standards) at all times. Adhere to department and company policies and procedures. Be available to respond to time-sensitive matters. Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to AREA15 standards. Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. High School Diploma or GED required 1-5 years of experience in related field Technical skills preferred such as Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting, HVAC or Electrical, but not required. Knowledge of OSHA guidelines required. Lock-out-tag-out, Blood Borne Pathogens, Use of PPE, and other safety training is required OSHA 10 preferred Scissor lift, boom lift, and forklift experience/certification desired. Knowledge of fire alarm monitoring and sprinkler systems Ability to read and decipher MEP drawings Working knowledge of MS suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Team-oriented: supportive, cooperative, and collaborative Must have open availability and be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke. Ability to commute between office and venue(s). Must have the ability to operate and withstand high temperatures, heat, and sun exposure.
