Share Email Opening Title Behavioral Health Program Assistant  Post Internal Days 0   Description As the Behavioral Health Program Assistant, you will provide support to patients seeking Behavioral Health services such as scheduling appointments, prescription refills, patient communications to team, referrals, connection to assistance resources, and other program specific responsibilities.   Behavioral Health Program Assistant Specific Duties: *Acts as an advocate on behalf of the Behavioral Health patients. *Assist referral specialist with scheduling incoming referrals. *Provides clear explanation of CHC programs, services, procedures regarding appointments, fees and eligibility/verification, as appropriate. *Schedules all appointments through incoming and outgoing calls with the Behavioral Health Department. *Assists with robust appointment call reminders to patients. *Manages incoming calls for medication refills and creates communications to appropriate provider.   Position Requirements: Experience/Education: Associates Degree or equivalent experience. Travel: Local travel between clinics, including Clinton and Muscatine, is required.   Check Out These Perks!
