Reports to:         Chief Executive Officer                                       Effective Date: 5/14/2024

Supervises:         Digital Marketing Specialist(s)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented individual to join our team as the Product Marketing Manager. This position will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and advertising initiatives across all three company brands. As the Product Marketing Manager, you will lead the current and future product marketers while collaborating with other cross-functional teams to increase brand awareness and support continued revenue growth.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

Product Marketing

  • In conjunction with marketing agency - Develop, manage, and lead comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with corporate objectives, generate leads, and drive sales.
  • Architect multi-channel marketing campaigns to support product launches, product lifecycle management, pricing initiatives and all other go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage company activity and content across all digital platforms, aligning with brand strategies and maximizing return on investment.
  • Oversee all digital and SEO tactics to improve visibility and attract target market.
  • Ensure the company and sales team are equipped with the necessary sales enablement tools to effectively communicate product differentiators.
  • Using a combination of analytical tools and CRM, measure and report on the results of advertising and marketing campaigns to drive a continuous improvement process.
  • Manage and monitor marketing expenses to ensure appropriate allocation of funds and achievement of the desired results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to optimize marketing efforts and remain competitive and contemporary.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management and sales departments to ensure the accuracy of packaging materials, product literature and all other marketing documentation.
  • In conjunction with Product Managers, drive successful product launches through us of state-gate product development process.

 

Brand Management

  • Partner with Product Management to understand target market needs resulting in increased sales, market penetration, and greater brand recognition.
  • Oversee the development and consistency of Suburban brand stories and voice with grammatically correct and proofread content.
  • Create a recognizable brand defining value propositions, educating on product features/benefits and design, while driving demand for products.
  • Engage in building customer relationships, responding to and relaying leads and inquiries to appropriate subject matter experts.
  • Oversee company communication and materials are in line with brand identity.
  • Assist with branding of the internal company culture in support of recruiting and engagement of the workforce, as appropriate.

 

Leadership

  • Build, grow, and nurture a team by understanding and effectively communicating the company's core values, technology & software, processes, partnerships, and value proposition.
  • Engage in a thorough process to recruit, interview, hire and onboard new employees.
  • Develop employees to grow as the business grows, provide growth opportunities commensurate with their potential.
  • Manage and evaluate performance, ensuring establishment of annual goals and objectives, as appropriate.
  • Monitor relevant metrics and use data to track performance including recognizing the connection to financial goals.
  • Follow through on appropriate disciplinary actions, in coordination with human resources.

Working Conditions:

  • Regular periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to adjust schedule to accommodate company or customer needs.
  • Must be able to travel by air or automobile to events and trade shows, as appropriate.
  • Travel up to 15% annually
  • Occasionally lift objects up to 25 pounds and carry short distances.
  • Must be able to follow and successfully complete pre-employment screening and background check requirements.
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing role with proven knowledge of marketing strategy, advertising, and brand management.
  • Proficiency in electronic marketing systems and tools, including social media sites, Adobe, Creative Suite, HubSpot Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Canva, and AI tools.
  • Previous experience leading, guiding or mentoring employees, preferred.
  • Proven skilled and competent in using technology-based devices and mobile tools such as personal computers and related software, mobile phones, and other devices and software. Specifically, Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software, ZoHo is a plus
