Position Site Experience Associate  
Description

Join the immersive world of ART, MUSIC & AMUSEMENT at AREA15, where the boundaries between reality and limitless creativity blur. Welcome to the "What's Next District.'

AREA15 is looking for Site Experience Associate for AREA15's Prop House operations. The Site Experience Associate will be responsible for ensuring the success of the event productions by efficiently maintaining inventory pertinent to the physical aspects related to show production and event logistics.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Performs inventory quality assurance, put away, picks, and counts as per processes and management instructions.
  • Performs the load-in and out-of-department equipment and props.
  • Responsible for communicating details of the event to crew leads.
  • Assist with maintenance and repair of equipment and props.
  • Comply with company safety regulations at all times.
  • Operate and care for work areas in a safe, clean manner.
  • Maintain professionalism by working steadily, being a team player and being responsible for personal actions.
  • Safely operate various types of utility vehicles, non-CDL trucks, and heavy equipment providing appropriate certification.
  • Collaborate with and support Production Labor Crew Chief for pickups, drop-offs, and any on-site installations that will need additional labor needs.
  • Follow all safety, corporate and department policies.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Use various hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
  • Assist with emergency and unscheduled repairs.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Detect faulty operations and defective material and report to a supervisor.
  • Exhibit ART! at all times.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Position Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • 3+ years minimum festival or concert tour experience
  • Ability to operate equipment such as forklift, boom lift, scissor lift ect.
  • Ability to use hand tools, saws, etc.
  • Knowledge in basic stages, truss, seating and exterior and interio site operations.
  • Must be highly motivated and possess superior interpersonal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of web and mobile technologies as well as two-way radio
  • Must possess working mobile device, preferably smart phone
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 75lbs.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
  • Must have the ability to withstand extreme weather conditions, such as high/low temperatures, high wind, heat, and sun exposure.
