Share Email Opening Title Environmental Compliance Manager  Description Position Summary The Environmental Compliance Manager is responsible for managing all environmental activities within their assigned area and align with the organization’s goals, objectives, and vision. Experience in working in oil and gas operations is required and expertise in produced water midstream is preferred. Pilot Water Solutions (“PWS”) is the most reliable name in water midstream. With strategically located assets in the core of its basins, Pilot Water Solutions is positioned to meet the needs of its customers with best-in-class service and reliability.   Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares, submits, tracks, and manages environmental filings including reportable spills, closure reports, Permit By Rule (PBR), SPCCs and Tier II. Responsible for Scope of Work for any spill incidents. Accountable for lump sum bids for remediation and clean-up work. Manages approved vendors for technical and field duties. Provides regular updates and coordination within the company from incident to closing of environmental projects including spills, remediation, site prep and facility compliance. Assists with government agency notifications with the help of external environmental firms, as needed. Assists with annual Tier II reporting coordinated with external environmental firms. Establishes and maintains strong relationships with the TCEQ, TXDOT, RRC, and EPA as required. Ensures compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and procedures. Coordinates thorough Desktop RSAs for future projects. Organizes, maintains, and tracks monitoring plans associated with remediation. Reviews, summarizes, and provides internal guidance regarding permit conditions of approval. Provides support and assistance to management and operations teams regarding required actions, project status, and potential challenges. Coordinates with other departments to collect and analyze information and data for regulatory reports. Keeps abreast of relevant local, state, and federal rules and regulations and agency policies. Designs and generate reports, presentations, and correspondence as required. Assists with the development of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program. Performs other responsibilities as assigned.   Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, comparable degree, or relevant experience. Familiarity with OCD, BLM, RRC, and TCEQ. Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite. Relationship focused with strong communication skills. Able to travel.   Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of relevant oil and gas industry experience.
