Your role in helping us shape the future

U.S. News empowers everyone to thrive. The Online Marketing Analyst will work with internal stakeholders to define campaign goals and strategy. You will be responsible for audience research, keyword research, segmentation, ad creation, campaign execution, campaign strategy and optimization, bid management and analysis of paid media and social accounts. The Online Marketing Analyst will analyze, optimize and refine campaigns to meet goals, such as ROAS, CPC, CPA, CPL, etc.



Are you up to the challenge?

  • Analyze, Identify & track campaign refinements and optimizations

  • Apply regular optimizations to paid media and social campaigns including audience segmentation, expansion and optimization

  • Support overall social media strategy, planning and day-to-day execution/management

  • Regularly reviewing numbers and data to make strategic decisions

  • Implement best practices and overcome challenges to achieve campaign goals

  • Conduct A/B and multivariable testing with social messaging, imagery, and audience groups

  • Analyze the entire acquisition funnel, to understand how to build remarketing audiences

  • Create campaigns that nurtures users into converts from the top of the funnel while achieving business goal ROAS

  • Be able to create a comprehensive growth strategy to continue to achieve success month to month and quarter to quarter

  • Ability to build strong relationships across different teams

  • Provide recommendations for campaigns based on individual campaign goals

  • Communicate optimizations to appropriate team members when needed

 
Position Requirements

You should definitely have:

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience creating, managing and optimizing online marketing campaigns

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required

  • Proven experience with Facebook with in-depth knowledge of ad platforms and best practices (additional channels a plus, Google Ads, Tiktok, etc)

  • Advanced Excel skills – ability to complete VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables

  • Creative thinker with strong organizational skills, analytic ability and flexibility to multitask

  • Excellent communication and be able to meet deadlines

  • Passion for internet marketing

  • Graphic Design/Video editing is a plus

  • In New York City, the anticipated base salary for this position is $60,000 - $85,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, interview performance, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
