Description

This position is a seasonal (May through October) role, part- or full-time. Our Line Cooks create culinary experiences for our Members and guests, ensure an organized, clean, and efficient department while cooperating in a team environment. We offer matching 401k, uniforms, staff meals, end-of-season bonus, and competitive pay-$16-$18 per hour, depending upon experience level.

Responsibilities:

  1. Completes all mise en place on a daily basis.
  2. Precisely follows presentation of food, portion control, consistency of food, flavor, and doneness.
  3. Consults with Chefs on dining reservations, events, special functions, and specials of the day.
  4. Assist with unloading, rotation, and proper storage of food items.
  5. Ensures proper sanitation procedures are followed.
  6. Professionally and respectfully communicate with team members.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be fluent in both spoken and written English, be able to use knives and other kitchen equipment safely, read and interpret documents, calculate figures, solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions, and utilize basic computer skills.  All MACC employees support the company Mission by embracing the Values.
