Since it's opening in 1999, the property has seen continual growth in both gaming and non-gaming assets. The Apache Markets are full service convenience stores. We have 2 locations: Lawton, Oklahoma and Anadarko, Oklahoma.




Apache Homelands is a full service casual dining restaurant and smoke shop in Deming, New Mexico.

Description

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate, with an Associate of Arts degree in business, accounting or similar field
  • Three years' progressively responsible experience supporting an executive in a company with more than 50 employees, or a comparable combination of education and experience
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Essential Functions

  • Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of providing exceptional service at all times.
  • Schedule, coordinate and complete all administrative work and projects as assigned to ensure efficient and effective operation, both as part of a team and independently with minimum supervision.
  • Organize and prioritize assignments in support of the department Director and Managers; open new files and maintain filing system in a current status; receive and route incoming mail, facsimiles, bills, etc.; process outgoing mail, respond to letters, items of concern, and/or inquiries promptly and politely.
  • Draft and compose correspondence, memoranda, e-mail messages, monthly, quarterly and/or annual reports and other documents using Microsoft Office software.
  • Accurately and timely complete basic financial activities related to the accounts payable function as assigned, including assisting with monthly closing of accounts records.
  • Supply timekeeping assistance for the department, verifying and modifying electronic timekeeping as required to maintain accuracy; timely certify and submit payroll information to Accounting.
  • Receive and satisfy vendor inquiries, and process vendor invoices in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Interface with all operational and support departmental team members, management, guests, outside agencies and vendors, in a courteous, appropriate manner.
  • Attend meetings as required, record minutes and prepare for distribution.
  • Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and escort or direct visitors to the appropriate office; place and receive calls, providing information to callers, or routing to the appropriate individual.
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies, and run various errands.
  • Be willing and able to help other departments and during events and functions as needed, which will likely include some evenings, holidays and weekends.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
  • Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
  • Regular attendance is required.

  • Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards may apply departmentally based on uniform requirements). Where uniforms are required, they must be clean and pressed at the beginning of each shift

  • Competency to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation, carefully monitoring processes and routine work details
  • Ability to clearly present information verbally and in writing; read and interpret complex information; actively listen and talk with guests and team members

  • Demonstrate a high level of service delivery to ensure guest and team member satisfaction; handle service failures and prioritize guest and team member needs
  • Prepare for known problems and opportunities in advance; willingness to undertake additional responsibilities and respond to situations as they arise
  • Maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines; reinforce excellence as a fundamental priority
  • Capable of using tact, maintaining confidences, and fostering an ethical work environment; giving proper credit to others, and handling situations honestly
  • Ability to adapt behavior to others' styles, interact with people who have different values, culture, or backgrounds, be of service to difficult people, optimize the benefits of having a diverse workforce, developing rapport with others and recognizing their concerns and feelings to build and maintain long-term associations based on trust
  • Share due credit with team members; display team spirit, enthusiasm and promote a friendly group working environment; work closely with other departments as necessary; support group decisions and solicit opinions from fellow team members
  • Ability to operate various types of equipment used in your department, for example personal computers, printers, copy machines, facsimile machines, and telephone
