Overview of Position: The Middle School Pastor or Director will be responsible for building committed followers of Jesus Christ among middle school students through relationships, programs, and environments that foster spiritual growth.   Primary duties and Responsibilities Create a balanced ministry through developing a variety of environments for students to come to know Jesus, grow in Him, and serve Him Create content for weekly large and small group meetings, and communicate with leaders on how to incorporate it into their groups Create a relationally driven ministry by example and investment in adult leaders Foster a community of middle school students who grow together Develop and implement strategies, budgets, and goals for growing the ministry Expand the middle school ministry through recruiting and equipping new leaders Maintain good relationships with volunteer leaders and provide continual motivation, feedback, and training Lead the middle school ministry staff by casting vision, creating goals, and equipping them to lead in their individual areas of influence Recruit, build, and equip a Student Ministry Team Develop relationships with parents through regular communication, parent meetings, and individual conversations Participate in other ministry duties as determined by the Student Ministry Pastor   Position Requirements Qualifications Mature, growing disciple with a consistent devotional life Meets the spiritual qualifications found in I Timothy, Titus, and I Peter Exhibits a missional lifestyle and mindset shown through value of relational ministry Experience and enthusiasm for making disciples and ministering to students/families Familiar with current trends related to middle school students, parents, and families Understands effective approaches to student ministry Works well with a team towards specific goals in a supportive manner Ability to work on multiple tasks and be flexible Self-motivated, strategic thinker, strong communication skills Ability to lead a team and cast vision Possesses an undergraduate degree (preferred) Committed to and agrees with the ministry philosophy and statement of faith of Austin Ridge   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   Close Date   Location Austin Ridge, Bee Cave Campus   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
