Position Director of Brand Sponsorship  
Description

As the Head of Brand Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in our continued growth and success. Your primary responsibilities revolve around building sponsorship strategies, fostering relationships, and driving partnerships that elevate the AREA15 brand. You will prospect, negotiate, and close new sponsorship deals, ensuring the successful execution of each agreement. Additionally, you'll identify and pursue strategic partnerships and business development opportunities to support AREA15's mid and long-term strategy and financial goals. Your role will also involve creating, presenting, and selling customized partnership proposals aligned with client goals and objectives. We're seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial, business development mindset, placing a strong emphasis on consultative selling.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Develop and execute sponsorship strategies aligned with AREA15's objectives.
  • Identify and pursue potential partnership and sponsorship opportunities, including researching and prospecting potential clients.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with potential sponsors, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties.
  • Actively work to close sponsorship deals by presenting compelling proposals and addressing client concerns.
  • Develop customized partnership proposals in line with client goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with AREA15's offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to activate sponsorship deals, ensuring the successful implementation of agreed-upon terms.
  • Contribute to the achievement of AREA15's mid and long-term financial goals through successful partnerships. Must be able to effectively steward corporations to secure funding to meet annual revenue goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and identify new opportunities.
  • Work with internal teams to execute partnership agreements.
  • Provide regular reports and analyze partnership performance. Escalate any abnormalities or concerning data.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize partnerships.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to identify potential partners.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt in a changing startup environment.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of high-level sales success.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Oversee the engagement strategy of existing team and program sponsorships.
  • Track and report progress and the impact of corporate partnerships.
  • Analyze partnership outcomes and optimize future partnerships.
  • Oversee ongoing research to identify potential sponsorships.
  • Exhibit ART! (AREA15's service standards) at all times.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Be available to respond to time-sensitive matters.
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to AREA15 standards.
  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Appplicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
  • Possess a minimum of five years of working experience in sponsorship, brand, entertainment, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving high-level, high-revenue sales success.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and drive results.
  • Previous experience overseeing engagement strategies and teams.
  • Proficiency in analyzing partnership outcomes and optimizing future collaborations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Experience in effectively managing partnership budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Act as a representative and ambassador of the AREA15 brand.
  • Strong network and relationships within the industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating deals, including legal aspects.
  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
  • Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat, and sun exposure.
