A day in the life of a Corporate Training professional:

  • Produces training manuals, worksheets, itineraries, new user set ups, training room set up, email communications for all training programs as part of a monthly check list.
  • Orders supplies for the department and educational events to include ink toners, office supplies, medical supplies and miscellaneous monthly or assists with other supply needs.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and organization of (Training Room) ensuring the product bins used in product knowledge education are free of all used or open packaging and there are four of every kind of product (ranging in sizes, with and without borders, silver and without silver) available for demonstration weekly.
  • Assists with Learning Management System functions; enrolling new users for onboarding training and adding/editing existing users for continuing educational training tracks with set up of due dates and future notifications from within the LMS for both.
  • Responds to inquiries, and troubleshoots concerns directly related to the LMS currently in place, including, but not limited to, iSpring and Zoho within designated timelines as directed by Corporate Trainer.
  • Assists in timely and effective communication to departmental leaders and employees, to include but not limited to; HelpDesk, Training@, document submissions, new users and respective terminations, T&D onboarding letters and PRISM glossary and Start UP (PRISMs onboarding program).
  • Reviews newly created and existing curriculum for publishing in the Training Network under the supervision of senior team members.
  • Supports Corporate Trainer with the management of all classes and programs; scheduling and coordinating calendar invites for all educators and securing conference rooms or any rooms associated with training, depending on the current need as it pertains to Corporate Training.
  • Assists and supports other departments as needed to include, but not limited to Managed Care Services and Logistics.
  • Works independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing projects, including, but limited to, Helpdesk tickets, Certified Training Assistants' Program, derivatives of Training@ e-mails, and other administrative tasks.
  • Works effectively as a team member with other members of the Training & Development department as it pertains to the needs of each segment within the department.
  • Participates in all training opportunities to advance PRISM knowledge to be utilized as a Certified Training Assistant for all training programs.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety, and compliance, and report any concerns of non-compliance in any area to your manager immediately.
  • Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
  • Assists with administrative responsibilities as needed - including, but not limited to, meeting minutes for select meetings, maintenance of spreadsheets, and creating monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Corporate Trainer, Learning Coordinator and/or Executive Director.

Position Requirements

Education/Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, and (1-3) years of experience in administration OR any similar combination of education and experience.
  • (1-2) years of experience providing support to an organization in a training capacity preferred.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle fast paced environment and multi-task.
  • Proficiency with survey and data visualization packages, including current iSpring.
  • Proficiencies in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate respectfully and appreciatively across cultures and with individuals at all levels
  • Self-motivated, problem-solver, attentive to details, and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • In an 8 hour day the employee infrequently lifts/carries 15 Lbs or less.
  • In an 8 hour day the employee stands/walks for less than 2 hours.
  • In an 8 hour day the employee sits 6+ hours.

 

Travel Requirements:

Percentage of travel expected to be 10% or less on an annual basis
