Description

Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a Sales Representative who will be responsible for promoting, maintaining, and developing their market area to increase profitability by promoting the sales of our rotating equipment solutions to new and existing customers. This role will be expected to maintain an extensive presence and actively seek new sales opportunities with clients within BC.

You would be playing an important role in our business with duties including, but not limited to:
 

Strategic Sales                                                                                                              

  • Promoting the company’s products and repair services through sound and ethical business practices as related to the customers and the public.
  • Gathering competitive information and other market information regularly.
  • Identifying and growing business opportunities with new customers to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Answering client queries and identifying new business opportunities among existing customers
  • Developing trusted relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders to ensure they are up-to-date and aware of company’s scope of products.
     

Reporting and Monitoring

  • Monitoring operations in their area to ensure that client needs are being appropriately met and that all corporate policies and procedures are being adhered to
  • Forecasting and tracking key account metrics (e.g., monthly/quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Managing account information and opportunities through Salesforce
  • Preparing and presenting proposals and quotes

Experience

  • 5 years or more working directly with rotating equipment repairs, sales or equivalent experience.
  • Solid expertise and demonstrated knowledge in conventional, upstream/midstream and Industrial Sales
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple accounts management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
  • Solid understanding with analytical skills of technical documents
     

Other Details

  • Compensation is based on experience; base pay and commissions make up the total compensation package. 
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE) $100,000 - $125,000+
