Broadband Administrative Assistant 


Position reports to Broadband Administration Coordinator. Verifies accuracy of daily work orders. Enters technician provided information from work orders into U-Bill. Enters information in the service call log. Prints and separates work orders daily. Stages various types of digital boxes for daily use. Prepares equipment and traps for daily work orders. Responsible for removal of equipment from and clearing accounts. Verifies functionality of returned equipment. Responsible for testing of cable modems and telephony modems. Provide sradio/cell phone support for field technicians. Verifies serviceability of all returned traps. Calls in underground locates and clears dig tickets via web interface. Keeps inventory database current. Maintains customer information databases. Monitors inventory levels and assists supervisory personnel with orders. Performs all customer call backs after initial installation/problem resolution. Contacts/arranges various vendors (SA) for return authorization numbers for equipment repair. Contacts Scientific Atlanta for technical support with issues (Staging/Pay Per View). Prepares and arranges pickup of all equipment (modems and DHCTs) returned from repair.

Position Requirements Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Strong customer service and problem solving skills desired.

Must be self motivated.

Must have time management skills with the ability to work independently.

Physical/Environmental Requirements Mobility to work in typical office settings using standard office equipment is required. In addition, vision to read printed materials and computer screen and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
