Stier Supply Company is a 78 year old family run and operated organization whose goal is to be the #1 Millwork Services company in the Southeast US. Our install teams are responsible for working in new residential neighborhoods where they focus on installing exterior doors, interior doors, trim, stairs, hardware, and blinds.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, energetic, and organized Estimating Assistant to provide administrative and organizational support to our Estimating team at our Charleston, South Carolina or Raleigh, North Carolina locations. The ideal candidate is able to manage and prioritize multiple projects while working both independently and as part of a team.

Duties of the Estimating Assistant include but are not limited to the following:

  • Download floor plans, specs, and instructions from builder websites
  • Clearly communicate information to the field and office personnel
  • Create material takeoff lists based on supplied plans and specifications
  • Prepare detailed bid packages of material lists, labor, and other documents to the Estimating team
  • Create and maintain daily reports

Qualities of the ideal candidate include:

  • Intermediate to advanced aptitude in Microsoft 365 products, namely Excel, as well as general computer and mathematical literacy
  • Able to multi-task, organize, and prioritize time and responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential material is required

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of office environment experience
