BETAH is seeking an experienced, ambitious, and highly creative Senior Digital Strategist to create and implement effective digital marketing strategy strategies for external and internal clients. The Senior Digital Strategist will work closely with project and marketing teams in executing on social media marketing initiatives, paid advertisement campaigns, email marketing, and other outreach and promotional activities.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver useful digital insight by researching digital and social media trends to specify target audiences and identify customers’ wants, needs, and pain points. 

As a Senior Digital Strategist, you will also oversee the execution of digital products, including blogs; supervise social media and content management, and monitor the development of marketing collateral. You should have experience with collaborating with social and digital vendors to ensure a well-coordinated digital marketing scheme that will present information that meets client messaging goals.

A prospective applicant should be experienced in using digital and social management software and digital analysis tools. This is necessary for keeping track of marketing initiatives and brand awareness growth schemes across multiple communications platforms.

 

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Senior Digital Strategist Position Overview:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drafting communications and correspondence for reviewers, social media content to promote events, webinars, and event attendance (across platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).

 

  • Developing email marketing and communicationsstrategy and message dissemination across multiple marketing systems, including Pardot and SalesForce. • Supporting data hygiene of client CRM databases.

 

  • Gathering, formatting, and consolidating information and data from multiple sources for program analysis and information sharing.

 

  • Analyze key email and blog performance metrics to continuously optimize on marketing strategies, isolating successful tactics and best practices.

 

  • Deliver weekly reports to share KPI results clearly and visually and draw actionable insights and next steps

 

  • Strong understanding of social media tools and platforms: Must be proficient in the tactical use of core platforms: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube.

 

  • Demonstrated success leveraging tools to effectively engage with key audiences on behalf of a brand/client/issue/organization.

 

  • Cross-platform digital knowledge, including social media, web design, mobile technologies, online and social brand promotion, etc.

 

  • Experience with social media management systems/platforms is preferred (i.e. Buffer, Hootsuite Sprinklr, Sprout, Spredfast, Percolate, etc.).

 

  • Curiosity and interest in moving audiences from awareness to action across various communications platforms.

 

  • Understanding the role of organic and paid social media in an integrated communications or marketing plan.

 

  • Experience in developing integrated campaign strategies and seeing the strategy through to execution.

 

  • Content planning and Storytelling Experience.

 

  • Perform quantitative, qualitative, and comparative data analyses of key social media content performance metrics to draw actionable insights, identifying successful tactics and best practices for ongoing, strategic optimization.

 

  • Build and present quarterly and yearly reports that communicate results using data visualization techniques and clearly formulated learnings and recommendations.

 

 

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience managing communications and social media content for an organization or brand, particularly related to health and science-related communications initiatives, strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience supporting government-related communications projects.
