Become part of our close-knit family today! As a Recruiter, you'll spearhead the attraction, sourcing, and hiring of top-tier talent, engaging both active seekers and passive prospects. Represent our company at career fairs and community events, embodying our values and vision. Collaborate closely with management to address staffing needs across Wyandot, Inc. and its esteemed family of agencies: PACES, Wyandot Center, Rainbow Services, and Kim Wilson Housing.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Administers full recruitment cycle using sourcing methods, internal / external, job boards, and community relations.
  • Develops strong awareness and understanding of the business and functional areas of responsibility to target and hire best talent.
  • Partners with hiring managers to understand organizational objectives and candidate requirements.
  • Composes accurate and quality ads.
  • Initiates and manages job postings in various media outlets, including corporate website, vendor websites, and internal communications.
  • Sources candidates through online resume databases, recruiting software databases, and social media.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by screening resumes and interviewing applicants.
  • Communicates with all levels of hiring managers to provide guidance, support, and recommendations on candidates.
  • Coordinate with managers onsite interviews with selected candidates.
  • Makes certain job requisitions and job searches are being processed in a timely fashion. Produces and/or coordinates on-boarding documentation and procedures with New Hires.
  • Provides oversight and collection and maintenance of applicant data, timely completion/verification of background investigations via third party vendor, and completion of input of candidate info in HRIS.
  • Participates in community opportunities [job fairs, college campuses, workshops, conferences, etc. and cultivates external relationships with a variety of sources.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial psychology, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted. College courses in human resources, communications, and general business preferred.
  • One year experience in a recruiting position, with particular emphasis in all employment functions. Six months applicant tracking experience desired.
  • Computerized database, word processing, and spreadsheet experience required. Experience working with a HRMS, including working knowledge of online applicant tracking systems, a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to write and speak concisely, succinctly, and accurately in a style appropriate to the audience.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be at ease in conversing with constituents at all levels.
  • Ability to be diplomatic at all times, while exercising excellent judgment and discretion as appropriate. Persuasive, tactful and discreet with excellent follow-through essential.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and able to effectively multi-task.
  • Demonstrated or proven ability to set priorities, attain deadlines, while balancing multiple projects.
  • Ability to interpret and apply new information and/or laws to employment and talent management.
  • Self-directed, a self-starter, and have the ability to work under minimum supervision.
  • Tech-savvy and familiarity with EEO and employment laws essential.
