Job Information: Shop Maintenance

Company Overview: Stier Supply Company, a recognized industry leader with over 76 years of experience in manufacturing and installing interior and exterior doors, is currently searching for a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee midday (11 a.m. start) operations at our North Carolina Distribution Center. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational accuracy by ensuring timely job completion and adherence to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations, ensuring their efficient execution.
Plan, manage, and oversee repair and installation activities to meet operational requirements.
Develop maintenance procedures that optimize efficiency while maintaining quality.
Perform both reactive and preventive maintenance on machines and facility infrastructure.
Lead the installation of new plant equipment, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked shop areas, tools, and supplies.
Operate a range of shop tools, equipment, and machinery related to maintenance functions.
Conduct repairs and adjustments on machinery, including dismantling components for repair or replacement.
Collaborate with other departments as necessary to address maintenance-related needs.
Execute preventive maintenance tasks in a safe and timely manner to minimize downtime.
Foster a clean and safe workplace environment in accordance with established standards.
Perform assigned repairs, handle emergencies, and carry out preventive maintenance as needed.
Contribute to the design and implementation of effective maintenance procedures.

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
