WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Help Desk Support Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our team with the day-to-day issues our users experience with our Microsoft and Azure driven environment.

THE NITTY GRITTY

  • Recording, tracking, and documenting all help desk requests, including the problem-solving process and all actions taken through to final resolution.
  • Assisting on projects for new technology research/implementation.
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software within established guidelines.
  • Providing both onsite and remote support to end users.
  • Escalating issues to either an internal resource or a third-party software company, when appropriate.
  • Assisting with new hire training for basic IT needs.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with various technical skill levels.
  • Exceptional computer proficiency including the MS Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn and grasp specialized and proprietary platforms.
  • Experience with SharePoint as well as PCI and basic cloud principles.
  • Relevant Help Desk/Software testing experience:
    • Interpreting user inquiries.
    • Understanding use cases and appropriately assessing and routing issues through to the proper channel.
  • Ability and willingness to travel/commute to various Mans locations when necessary (Canton, Trenton, Ann Arbor, Rochester).
  • A strong steward of Mans culture and core values.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines while always maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments through to completion.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines (well, not really fax machines).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is somewhat of a sedentary role; however, some daily active movement is required.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with schedule flexibility.
