Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and experienced Behaviour Analyst to join the Holland Bloorview team. The summer camp is a unique program designed to empower children and youth by enhancing their decision making and socialization skills. It is a therapeutic and goal-oriented program and the successful candidate will lead the identification of goals and progress throughout the program for each client. This will be done in a collaborative manner with therapeutic recreation staff as well as families. At the beginning of the fall, the successful candidate will join the Holland Bloorview ambulatory team and provide behaviour analytic services across two teams: Extensive Needs Service and Restrictive Eating. The Extensive Needs Service is a program for individuals up to the age of 18, whose needs cannot be met in a single service stream and who require an integrated approach across Mental, Behavioural and Developmental Health. As an integral member of the interprofessional team, the Behavioural Analyst will provide trauma-informed and compassionate behaviour assessment and care plans to children, youth and families with extensive needs such as co-occurring medical, physical and developmental complexities and/or social vulnerabilities. The Restrictive Eating clinic supports the needs of children with neurodevelopmental disorders that also present with ARFID and/or severe restricted food intake.
