Do you love planning, developing, organizing and carrying out projects?  We are looking for a highly motivated, detailed-oriented Marketing Administrative Specialist to join our team.  You will play a crucial role in supporting our projects, presentations,events and marketing initiative.  

In addition, the selected candidate will support the organization’s project efforts by providing support through various administrative functions, research, planning, and development of content, including website, social media, brochures, presentations, events, and other marketing materials, with a focus on a diverse audience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Generate content across various mediums such as articles, website pages, social media posts, newsletters, presentations, and brochures.
  • Collaborate and engage with the teams/departments on the development of media, marketing campaigns, newsletters, presentations, bulletins, and other materials as requested.
  • Proofread and fact-check materials and content to ensure accuracy and credibility.
  • Manage the uploading and scheduling of written content across platforms.
  • Be a liaison with external suppliers for content development and production.
  • Assist facilitators with organizing and coordinating meetings, webinars, conferences, and other activities as requested.
  • Attend scheduled meetings, take minutes, manage project tasks, and help staff to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate in managing OCCK’s website content and ensure it is up to date.
  • Responsible in the design, ordering, and inventorying of the company’s marketing materials and promotional items.
  • Maintain confidentiality issues and release of information issues.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, analytical summaries, excel sheets, or other communications on a regular basis.
  • Oversee and manage mailing lists.

 

ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES

  • Know and be able to speak to the agency’s mission and philosophy to the extent that casual conversation in the community can promote community awareness of OCCK, Inc.
  • Perform ad hoc job duties as assigned by Administration and Information Systems Manager.

 

 
Position Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)

  • Demonstrated experience in content writing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • 2+ years marketing experience and project management experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of, and experience with, all Microsoft Office products, Canva, Hootsuite and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a team setting.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING
