About the Role

This position reports to the SVP Deposit Operations at our IncredibleBank branch location in Wausau, WI and allows you to partner with other team members and key stakeholders to provide Incredible Customer Experiences of your own! Duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Understands and articulates the Bank’s strategic vision and links department performance to the goals of the organization. Works with other managers to design new loan products/services that drive volume and profitability.
  • Effectively direct and manage a team responsible for precise and compliant loan servicing functions and data integrity in the Bank’s core operating systems; including loan booking and editing, rate changes, payment handling, loan advances, floor plan management, collateral management, escrow and insurance handling, loan payoffs, file maintenance, loan statements and billing notices, loan reconciliations, and tax reporting. 
  • Provides oversight to investor reporting staff responsible for daily and monthly balancing, deliveries, remittances, and reporting for all Bank investor relationships including FNMA, FHLMC, FHLB and SBA portfolios.
  • Ensures accurate and timely balancing of accounts and reports on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Delivers functional direction, technical assistance, and leadership to department personnel ensuring growth and development.
  • Oversees staff to ensure adherence to Bank Loan Policy, Bank SOP and procedures, State and Federal regulations and external vendor policies.
  • Responsible for tactical plans, and procedural changes to ensure alignment with Bank objectives and policies.
  • Manages financial and reputational risk of servicing a complex loan portfolio consisting of 10,000 loans across seven loan verticals (mortgage, consumer, business, motorcoach/boat, Airfleet,SBA & floorplan). Also manages specialty loan products such as SWAPs and Participations.    
  • Reviews departmental reporting practices to ensure conformity with investor, company, and government requirements.
  • Evaluates vendor contracts and negotiates services and renewal terms.
  • Provides direction in the handling of complex or unusual problems with loan services and investor reporting.
  • Acts as a primary resource for internal and external Bank audits and exams and responds to audit findings leading any procedural changes needed.
  • Establishes key performance indicators and provides meaningful and timely management reporting regarding department activities and the Bank’s loan portfolio and systems.

This is a regular full-time salaried exempt position, averaging approximately 40 hours/week. Schedule may vary between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm CST Monday through Friday.

This position will work on-site at our IncredibleBank branch location in Wausau, WI on 17th Avenue.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in applicable field and at least 5-7 years of experience in loan servicing preferred.
  • A minimum of five or more years of direct supervisory/management experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac lending laws, procedures, practices, and markets.
  • Accounting skills and / or statistical knowledge.
  • Core banking/processing system expertise preferred; including Jack Henry, Encompass, Info-Access, Xperience, and Synapsys.
