Pavement Marking Technician III (Dnever, CO) 


Pay: $24.00 - $29.00

Works in the HSG or ISG line of business

Ability to read and understand basic striping plans and perform needed layout including intersections markings. Ability to communication with contractor's rep., the field inspector, and all field personnel under your supervision. Ability to complete daily required paperwork. This includes accurately logging all yield conversions and verification of meeting required specifications

  • Lead and train crew members to perform essential pavement marking functions.
  • Train all personnel in the operation and maintenance of all equipment
  • Identify, design, and implement all current MUTCD, State, City, and local pavement marking and traffic control standards. This include the identification of incorrect applications in the plans and proper resolutions
  • Operate paint trucks, thermo, epoxy, grinder, saw and water blaster trucks and driving skills to install acceptable permanent pavement markings
  • Implement striping plans and perform needed layout including intersections markings
  • Install Prefrom Plastic and Preformed Thermoplastic to job specification
  • Operate and maintain all hand equipment including milling equipment
  • Operate and maintain paint trucks
  • Install temporary pavement markings
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment ( work boots – 6 inch with safety toe, hard hat and safety vest)
  • Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures
  • All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements


  • Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particles
  • Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loud
  • Regularly required to stand/walk; reach with hands and arms; for up to 10 hours a day
  • Regularity lift and/or move more than 50 pounds


  • More than 3 years years of industry experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Pass a drug test
  • Ability to participate and pass Flagger certification
  • Must have a CDL Class “A” license
  • Must be ATSSA TCT Certification
  • Must be ATSSA PAVEMENT Marking Tech Certified (if state requires)
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Hold or ability to obtain OSHA 30
  • Company sponsored Defensive Driver Training
  • Forklift Certification

  • Hold Hazardous Materials Certification
