Description

Summary:

Hui Huliau Technology Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Hui Huliau is seeking a HealthShare Integration Engineer to join our remote team. The engineer should have experience with InterSystems HealthShare, Cache, IRIS and knowledge to design, code, test, debug, and document software in a variety of programming languages.

*The candidate must reside within the continental US or US territories. Ideally, work on Eastern Standard Time Zone (EST). The candidate must be able to support an alternative schedule (noted below).

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 12:00am, Mon - Fri or
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 8:00am, Mon - Fri
  • PTO: All Federal Holidays

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategies and solutions for automating operations and identify streamlined software delivery methodology and technology processes.
  • Maintain continuous integration & continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Perform backup, recovery, patching, and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) integration.
  • Certificate Management as well as updates to certificates in production level as well as lower-level environments.
  • Help in Tier 3 support of the InterSystems HealthShare Application and related technologies.
  • Installation and Configuration of InterSystems HealthShare base software, kits, and Ad-Hoc patches.
  • Help support OAuth and SSO configuration and setup.

Position Requirements

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in information technology and/or Federal Government contracting, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience coding or operating production systems.
  • Required experience with InterSystems HealthShare, Cache, and Iris systems.
  • Experience automating infrastructure, testing, or deployments of cloud-based applications with tools like Jenkins, Ansible.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions such as DynaTrace, Splunk.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience developing Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes to help deliver software of higher quality at greater speed.
  • Experience with AWS, Agile/SAFe, DevOps, IRIS, Unix, Apache, Ansible Python Scripting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of one or more different agile methodologies, including SAFe.
  • Experience with AWS monitoring tools: CloudWatch.
  • Experienced with configuring large middleware applications.

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a government public trust security clearance.
  • Experience with monitoring tools Splunk, Dynatrace preferred.
  • Experience in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is a plus.
  • Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect-Associate.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed in an office or home office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Requires the ability to walk short distances.
  • Exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
