Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive): The position of Senior Data Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Visualize, interpret, report data findings, and may create dynamic data reports. Develop statistical analysis plans and data management procedures using relational database principles, protocols, and methodology. Integrates and analyzes data from many sources, including resolving data problems. Conducts complex and detailed quantitative statistical analyses, using statistical analysis software such as SAS, to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of programs and service delivery. Performs quantitative statistical analyses using complex analytic methods, including multiple regression, general linear model, correlation, t-test, creating composite variables, and longitudinal analysis. Performs qualitative statistical analysis of large datasets of written comments in order to identify themes and draw validated conclusions.
