Assists the Product Development Designers, engineers, and the Director of the department to design, develop and improve new or existing products. Here is what you will do... Serves as a positive role model consistent with Polo’s corporate culture at all times. Analyzes various designs requirements and recommends possible solutions or alternate constructions. Provides information when required for cost estimating, and to Visual Designer for illustrations required for sales aids. Construct prototypes per the Designer/Engineers instructions to meet customer and internal requirements. Gather raw materials, shop-aids, tooling, and attachments necessary to build prototypes. Help set up prototype equipment and uses experimental materials to test theories developed. Assist theEngineers/ Designers by communicating with production personnel regarding ideas, drawings, and products in the development of designs to resolve problems and to provide prototypes on schedule. Work with the Designer/Engineers to communicate important product information needed to quote the manufacturing cost. Work with the Designer and Document Control Manager to provide all essential information necessary to create a production master. Investigates and finds solutions to problems. Document filing as required. Maintain a good attendance record according to company policy. Attending departmental meetings as well as meetings assigned by management. Must be a strong team player and interact well with others.     Position Requirements Here is what you'll need to qualify... Education: Student or Graduate in Product Manaufacturing /Desigh Program Experience:    Here are the competencies we are looking for... Problem-solving skills. Organized, repsonsible,punctual and self-disciplined  Knowledge to retrieve information from Syteline, Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong team player who interacts well with others. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of classified information Ability to communicate with employees and other business contacts in a courteous amnd professional manner.
