MONDAY-FRIDAY, 5:30PM-11:00PM & EVERY OTHER SATURDAY/SUNDAY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, strips, waxes and polishes floors and cleans carpets. Cleans and disinfects offices, hallways, entries/exits, lounges, classrooms, and other work areas. Empties wastebaskets, trash cans, and empties and cleans ashtrays. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishes restroom supplies. Cleans and disinfects restroom walls, doors, partitions, lavatories, showers, mirrors, and other fixtures. Performs high and low dusting. Cleans glass, doors, trim, and threshold. Cleans and polishes metal and wood. Keeps equipment clean and stored properly. Empties and disinfects diaper pails. Helps assure security of area.   Position Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
