Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Skilled General labor  Category Commercial Van Solutions   Description Commercial Van Solutions, a fast-growing upfitter of commercial and recreational cargo vans, is seeking an experienced candidate to aid in the installation of aftermarket parts on vans and RVs. We upfit new or existing vans with commercial grade shelving, partitions, ladder racks, power equipment, drawer units, and custom cabinetry for large fleets and end-users. Also, as a Trevois distributor of camper van components, we upfit “adventure vans” by Ford, Ram and Mercedes-Benz. A qualified candidate would benefit by having experience in the RV or travel trailer industries, and a basic knowledge of plumbing, heating and electrical. A background as a mechanic or commercial, industrial or residential maintenance would be a plus. Job Duties Include: Build, assemble and install interior/exterior components Wire and install both AC & DC components Insulate vehicle interiors Clean and detail interior and exterior of van Keep assigned area clean and orderly Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Other duties as assigned.   Position Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge and experience with automotive DC electrical Ability to read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English Ability to read and use a linear and other measuring devices Ability to use basic mathematics Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards Experience with various tools; drills, screw gun, table saw, band saw, router, small machinery, power, air and hand tools Experience with assembly and/or construction work desirable Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check Physical requirements: regularly required to stand, crouch, and kneel; frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms and to use hands and fingers to feel objects, tools and components; occasionally required to stoop or crawl and the ability to talk and hear. Ability to lift 50lbs.
