Share Email Opening Title Part-Time Packaging & Cake Boxer  Description If you are looking for a part-time position, working in a fast paced bakery environment, we would love for you to join our Sales Department to package, seal and label baked goods for customer pick-up. Responsibilities Handling cakes with delicacy and carefully boxing all orders without damage. Performing a final check of printed orders for accuracy, highlighting and noting pertinent information. Checking finished product against order slip for correct size, batter, decorations, inscriptions, etc. to ensure all packaged items meet Bethel Bakery’s quality standards. Entering orders into the POS and tracking orders. Organizing, cleaning and stocking supplies for department, as needed. Maintaining a clean work area (workstations, equipment, etc.). Helping our call center send out orders to customers, and assisting The Cake Place to answer customer questions. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Excellent organizational skills and effective time management skills. Customer focused, with thorough attention to detail and presentation. Ability to work as a team player. Ability to work in/out of coolers/freezers. Ability to comprehend and follow all company procedures and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation. Efficient computer skills & POS experience. Strong communication skills, interpersonal, oral and written, to be able to interface with other departments, as well as provide excellent customer service. Must be able to stand, lift 10-20 pounds consistently, reach, kneel, bend, sit and walk during the course of your shift. Strong work ethic. Clean & professional appearance. Hours Part-time; 20+ hours/week Wednesday 10-4 p.m. Thursday 8:30-5 p.m. Friday 8:30 -5 p.m. Saturday 7-11 a.m. No late nights! Closed Sundays and on major holidays, which include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day. Must be available to work on “All Hands on Deck Days.” Additional information Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Will be required to wear slip resistant shoes during your shift. Work Location 5200 Brightwood Road, Bethel Park, PA 15102; must be able to reliably commute or planning to relocate prior to starting work.
