We are seeking an experienced Chief of Staff to support our enterprise Engineering solutions and strategic initiatives as we continue to grow as a business. The role will partner with the CTO, CEO, and technology leadership to gain an understanding of TicketNetwork's technology portfolio and provide expertise in planning, implementation, and support of technology initiatives. This Chief of Staff will work with a talented and diverse IT team to ensure that TicketNetwork is implementing and supporting cutting edge technology solutions for our company, our clients, and our consumers with an eye towards security and efficiency.

The Chief of Staff will serve as a liaison between our executive leadership and IT and Engineering teams, ensuring that communication is clear and initiatives are considered in a proactive manner.

Ideal candidates will have experience in strategic leadership connecting business and IT, will possess knowledge of e-commerce business processes, and will have demonstrated success in connecting business strategy to IT and Engineering solutions.

Primary Responsibilites:

  • Provide strategic review of existing technology practices and provide a summary of ideas and implementation plans to address any concerns
  • Utilize a robust understanding of business and Engineering solutions and how to align them with business initiatives
  • Review and analyze technology budgets to identify areas of improvement or areas TicketNetwork should be focusing on
  • Liaise with IT and Engineering staff to understand needs and work with leadership to create priorities and action items
  • Implement and follow through on strategic initiatives relating to technology and cybersecurity
  • Identify and communicate KPIs for Engineering and IT teams in conjunction with executive leadership
  • With strategic initiatives in mind, create business process improvement plans for continuous improvement in technology over time
  • Work collaboratively with CTO and Owner to increase stakeholder engagement and increase understanding of technology initiatives among executive and IT/Engineering teams
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Work with IT and Engineering managers to create standard operating procedures and practices to benefit the organization from a business and technology perspective
  • Additional tasks and projects as they arise

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in enterprise technology leadership collaborating with stakeholders, with demonstrated ability to convert business initiatives to technology solutions
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience using the following technologies:
    • NET/C#
    • SQL Server
    • Python
    • Mobile App Development
    • JavaScript
    • TypeScript
    • AWS/Azure
    • Octopus Deploy & Jenkins
    • Node.js
    • Azure DevOps
    • API Managers
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic communication plans
  • Experience in ticketing, entertainment, or e-commerce technology highly preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS/BIS or related field required
  • Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS/BIS or related field preferred

Schedule:

  • Full time
  • Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-6:00PM
  • Hybrid work model
  • Due to the nature of the role, candidates may need to be available outside of regular schedule
