Washingtonville Pediatrics is looking for a Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our inviting team of clinicians at the Health & Wellness Counseling Center. This position will be located at the Washingtonville, NY office and will include both telehealth (using Zoom and/or Doxy) and in person sessions.
The position requires a professional who is experienced, warm, flexible, adaptable, and able to address a variety of patient needs of all age groups and diverse backgrounds.
Salary approx $53k-$70k, negotiable based on experience and licensure. Bilingual proficiency with English and Spanish required
Job Duties:
- Provide individual and group therapy to patients utilizing appropriate modalities
- Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner using the Electronic Health Record system
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Provide referral to community resources based on individual needs
- Work collaboratively with other staff
- Attend monthly group supervision and staff meetings
Qualifications:
- Master's degree required
- Licensed mental health professional (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or LMFT)
- Outpatient clinical or mental health clinical experience (two years experience required)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, knowledge of best practices working with children and families, and demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Experience with children and teens (preferred)
