Welcome to the "What's Next District.' We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving/Inventory Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist managing inventory levels and receiving process across multiple retail outlets. This role involves coordinating with various departments, working closely with warehouse and outlet teams to ensure optimal stock levels, ordering timelines, and efficient inventory management. This role reports to the Retail Operations Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Receive and inspect incoming shipments of merchandise & verify the accuracy of received products against purchase orders. Record and track inventory levels across multiple retail outlets. Coordinate with store teams to communicate inventory needs and stock replenishment. Work closely with warehouse and store teams to ensure optimal stock levels and ordering timelines. Support the management team in planning and executing inventory-related tasks. Communicate and follow up with variances in inventory records. Seek credits from vendors for discrepancies and issues. Process returns to vendors (RTV) in accordance with company policies. Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure ongoing accuracy of inventory records. Assist in the planning and execution physical inventory counts on a scheduled basis. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any delivery or product quality issues. Utilize inventory management software to update and maintain accurate stock records. Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures. Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts. Exhibit ART! (AREA15's service standards) at all times. Adhere to department and company policies and procedures. Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to AREA15 standards. Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds assisted. Ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record. Self-starter capable of multitasking, working independently, and contributing to various business functions. Proven experience as an Inventory Control or Receiving Clerk in a retail environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Effective communication skills to collaborate with various departments. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. A team player, dedicated to achieving objectives. Skilled in fast-paced settings, capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and collaborating across various business units. Ability to commute between office and venue(s). Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
