Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive): Responsible for querying unique data sets from multiple government-hosted systems related to personnel readiness. Conduct complex analysis to identify trends, anomalies, issues, and root causes. Supports development and production of deliverable and ad hoc reports using data analysis and visualization software to depict key performance indicators. Provides support to stakeholders at the RSP Site, Team, State/Territory, Region and National levels with systems utilization and reporting capabilities. Coordinate and collaboratively work with system users to improve overall data entry quality and standardization of data management processes. Respond to scheduled and requested reports, including but not limited to Retention Notes Reports, State Retention Notes, Month Disposition Reports, Quick Facts Reports, National Shipper QC Reports, Direct Ship reporting, Performance Metrics Reports, Ship Recommendation Reports, Attrition Reports, Reenlistment Mission Percentage Reports, 90-Day Retention Alerts Reports, Flagged Soldier reports through the use of Retention Management Software. Gain a deep understanding of program objectives and processes to establish new performance indicators and measurable metrics that provide value-added insight into program status and performance. Serves as contract lead for utilization and data exporting from Vulcan, Director's Personnel Readiness Overview, REQUEST, Strength Maintenance Management System, SharePoint, and other government-hosted systems and platforms. Qualifications: Possess or ability to obtain a favorable Tier 1 Background Investigation. Bachelor’s degree in data science or related IT field, and a minimum of three (3) years of data analysis and programmatic metrics reporting experience. A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience with data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI. Possess an Expert-level knowledge of MS Excel. A demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint and Teams. Demonstrated strong analytical skills. A minimum of one (1) year of experience extracting data from web-based systems and case management software. Preferred: Experience delivering data analysis for Military programs. Experience with military Recruitment and Retention processes. Graduate degree in data science or related IT field. Relevant certifications in Tableau, Power BI, and other innovative data solutions.
