Applicants must have excellent observation and assessment skills and the ability to educate patients and families. The opportunity to work full-time or part-time is possible with also working in the Acute/ER or LTC setting! Position Type: PRN Responsibilities: Give patient care, patient teaching, and documentation of same according to policy and procedures of Tioga Medical Center. Must complete charting accurately and make appropriate reporting of errors. Make economical use of all equipment, supplies and time. Provide direct patient care. Assess patient and document on the intraoperative record form. Communicate with patients and families, team members and physicians. Attend O.R. staff meetings. Maintain the proper surgery dress code.
