Share Email Opening Apply Now Title R & D CNC Machinist  EOE Statement Barrett is an equal opportunity employer.    Description Responsible for fabrication of parts used for fixturing, prototypes, and the repair of existing equipment or tools.   Essential Duties and Responsibilitie: Set up and operate CNC Mills/Lathes, Wire EDM, Surface Grinder. Document and perform in-process inspections. Perform required operator maintenance on equipment. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or management.   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Position R & D CNC Machinist   Position Requirements High school diploma required. Up to 2 years’ experience as a CNC Machinist required. Read and understand print specifications. Capable of utilizing conversational programming Knowledge of appropriate cutting tools for materials used during fabrication. Proficient in the use of common machine shop measuring tools. (Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gauge, Depth Mics, etc…) Experience with Microsoft Office environment, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to learn new software and database programs as necessary. The employee must be able to lift and carry or move up to 70 pounds for long periods of time, in accordance with proper safe lifting procedures.   Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Maintain valid driver’s license.
