We believe vaccination is the best protection for our patients, community and Visiting Nurse staff.   Location Corporate   Category Corporate   Description The Revenue Cycle Specialist responsibilities include: coordinating assigned patients insurance qualification process and collection procedures; gathering data for financial assessments; liaison between patients, contract payors and other health care providers relative to financial issues; performs receivables management, billing and collections duties. This position will require the candidate to be in office 5 days a week for the first 90 days of employment; after the training period has been completed, and with Manager approval, candidate will be allowed 3 work from home days. VNHS is located in the Sandy Springs/Atlanta area. This position contains an hourly salary of $22/hour.   Full-Time/Part-Time -unspecified-   Position Requirements Education: High School Diploma required. Previous Experience: Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business or finance preferred, or 3-4 years of equivalent work experience. Knowledge/Training: Opportunity to learn all aspects of healthcare management. Skills: Strong written & oral communication skills and ability to deal with both internal and external customers. This includes team members, patients, families, referral and community resources. Must be proficient in use of personal computers to include basic office automation such as spread sheets and word processing software. Computer Skills: Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as, user names and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop or laptop, including starting programs, using files, and windows, effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.
