RCN Capital, LLC is a national, direct, private lender providing real estate investors with financing for the purchase or refinance of non-owner-occupied single-family & multi-family properties. We are growing quickly and are looking for a Title Examiner to join our Legal team. The Title Examiner will work collaboratively with our loan originations team and loan closers to contact Title Companies or Law Offices to acquire information and Title for review and analysis. With the help of our attorneys and closers, the role will be able to prioritize files, clear up concerns or questions on Title to clear the path for closing, examine deed of trust, liens, judgments, easements, restrictions or other issues impacting Title, and determine if there are any underlying issues that would prevent a clear Title for the Lender.
Ideal candidates will have an Associates degree in paralegal studies from an ABA accredited institution, experience performing Title review and examination, exposure to real estate and either banking or lending, and thrive in a fast-paced environment working both independently and collaboratively.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Corresponding with Title Companies and/or Law Offices on title related needs
- Working with internal Attorneys and Closers to prioritize files
- Analyzing title documents and legal descriptions of the property
- Examine deeds, deed of trust, liens, judgments, easements and restrictions, etc.
- Ability to determine if there are any underlying title issues that would prevent clear title for Lender
- Additional tasks, projects, or assignments as needed

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Required Experience: - Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from an ABA accredited institution
- 1-3 years experience in a Legal or Real Estate Setting
- 1-3 years experience of experience with Title Reviewing
Education: - Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from an ABA accredited institution required
Schedule: - Full time
- M-F, 9AM-6PM
