We are a partially employee owned company who is looking to hire an experienced Mechanic who can serve as a strong leader and Shop Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities Interact with multiple customers daily: written and verbal. Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses and inventory. Employee interaction; hiring; promoting; disciplinary proceedings and training. Purchasing parts and supplies. Safety Inspections & Internal Work performance audits. Code and process invoices for payment. Qualifications and Requirements Must have a strong customer service mindset. Must possess a working knowledge of all aspects of truck and trailer maintenance activities and have strong mechanical aptitude. Must be an experienced troubleshooter, estimator and service writer. Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize projects and duties with exceptional follow through skills. Must be able to multi-task effectively. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to effectively manage team of skilled mechanics. Previous management experience in a similar environment preferred. Looking for hard working and energetic team player. Strong leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively with others. Compensation: $70,000-$85,000/year depending upon experience. This is a salaried-exempt position.
