Job Summary:
Business Development Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales opportunities to support the healthcare, hospitality, and GSA service lines. Identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources including networking, inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research.
PRINCIPAL/ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop new business via networking through telephone, email, and social media to introduce WeSolve Workplace Environments healthcare, hospitality, and GSA solutions.
2. Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects for opportunities.
3. Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
4. Work with the Director, Business Development to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet annual incentive plan metrics and support the WeSolve team meet, or exceed, business plan goals.
5. Manage data for new and prospective clients within CRM, ensuring all communications are logged and information is accurate.
6. Conduct market research within the healthcare, hospitality, and GSA markets to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape. Analyze data to develop actionable strategies for business growth.
7. Active involvement in social media in postings, research, and visibility for WeSolve

OTHER/NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assist with the development of a retail market vertical in conjunction with other service verticals WeSolve offers. 2. Assist the WeSolve Response Team, Service Line Operations and Leaders in RFI/RFQ/RFP response development for training on pricing development and operational standards to moving into a Service Line sales position. JOB SPECIFICATION: Education: High School Diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred Knowledge/Experience: Proven experience (7+ years) in a business development or similar role within the healthcare, hospitality, and GSA markets. Strong understanding of prospecting techniques and practices. Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined prospecting activity quotas. Proven record of accomplishment of maintaining strong networking and client relationships. Skills and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with prospects. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently, and as part of a team. Understanding of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
